About
Janelle Hagan is an artist based in Nashville, Tennessee. Her work explores lineage and identity through her own experiences and relationships, considering how the people and histories that shape us influence the way we understand ourselves and the world around us. Her work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions throughout Tennessee. In 2026, Hagan received the Best of Show Purchase Award for her work Presents from My Father and the Walter and Sarah Knestrick Award, which is currently funding a project Hagan is working on centered on motherhood in the western United States. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Photography from Belmont University.
